Ismaning, Germany – Could 2nd, 2025 – We’re happy to announce that AVILUS has been licensed by the German Federal Aviation Workplace (Luftfahrtbundesamt, LBA) as a Mild UAS Operator (LUC) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/947, Annex Half C. This makes us the third firm in Germany to obtain this prestigious certification.

Holding a Mild UAS Operator Certificates (LUC) permits drone operators to self-authorize new flight areas or with superior privileges to self-adjust procedures, drone sorts, or operational strategies independently from the Federal Aviation Workplace. Not like an ordinary Operational Authorization (OA) granted by the Federal Aviation Workplace, the LUC transfers authorization privileges to the operator, which may be constantly expanded over time in coordination with the authority (Superior Privileges).
